Style Inspiration from Mark Ronson

Mark Ronson is a British musician, singer, DJ and producer. He’s best known for collaborations including ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars and ‘Valerie’ with Amy Winehouse. He has also produced work by Adele, Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Duran Duran and Lily Allen.

In addition to being an award winning musician and producer, Ronson has also made waves in the style world. GQ have consistently featured Ronson on their best dressed lists, including being named Most Stylish Man of the Year in 2016.

We’d describe Ronson’s style as eclectic but suave. It’s part vintage and part showbiz, but always cool. He incorporates a great deal of tailoring into his look, including retro styled blazers and dinner jackets.

The magic of Ronson’s style is that he is not afraid to push the boundaries. He is a serial over-dresser who somehow always manages to look stylish.

Here’s why we think Mark Ronson is an excellent source of style inspiration:

He’s not afraid of colour. Case in point? Here he is in head to toe pink tailoring. Who knew it would look so good?!

He experiments with fabrics and texture. We love this deconstructed silk jacket with delicate repeated print.

Ronson evidently doesn’t believe that glitter is just for women. And after seeing this sparkly emerald green blazer, we’re inclined to agree with him.

He doesn’t limit tailoring to black tie events. There’s something about a dinner jacket worn with a black t-shirt and sunglasses that we can really get behind!

Finally, let it be known that Ronson is not daunted by the idea of tailored prints! Here he is in a leopard print blazer
