Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

We often get asked ‘I’ve got a really nice suit at home, could you replicate it?’. With the move to contactless tailoring, this has never been easier.

We’ve laid out all of the measurements we’d need to start on your bespoke garment. Currently we offer two-piece suits in the ‘measure at home’ system. Simply follow the guides above, take a look at the images in the sliders, and submit your measurements in centimeters.

What if it's not right?

Rest assured, an experienced tailor will pore over your submitted measurements to ensure they ‘look’ correct. We’ve decades of experience when it comes to measuring and fitting suits and we’ve developed an eye for the odd (rare) mistake.

I’ve submitted my measurements. What now?

Once you have submitted your measurements, our experienced tailors will be in touch to arrange a (video) call to discuss material choice, style choice and how the suit will be worn. Any further questions you have or guidance you may require will be addressed here.

Jacket Measurements

Shoulder Width

There are two ways you can measure shoulder width. Ideally with a dummy, or on a flat surface.

On a dummy (ideally)
Measure from where the shoulder seam hits the sleeve
across to the opposite shoulder.
Follow the rounding of the back.

Without a dummy
Lay the unbuttoned jacket with the back folded on the point-to-point.
Measure the shoulder width in two steps:
1. Start at the outer side of one shoulder to the centre back.
2. Then from centre back to the other outer side of the shoulder
