OUR BESPOKE PROCESS

The Booking

After contact has been made, our team will help find the perfect date and location for your first appointment.
Our visiting tailors would be happy to meet you at your place of work in central London or at our York or Mayfair fitting rooms.

At this stage, it is useful to have an idea of what you are looking for, with some idea of the cloth and colour. This helps us to provide you with the best options at the first appointment.

The Appointment

At the first appointment we will confirm the type of suit that you are looking for, take your measurements and then discuss with you cloth and styling options. We have hundreds of different cloths available and our tailors will help you find the perfect choice for any occassion.

The Fitting

At the fitting, usually six weeks after the first appointment, we will have the unfinished garment for a try-on. At the fitting stage, the suit is incomplete and this appointment is meant to iron-out any tweeks or changes. We use both a full skeleton baste-fitting, as well as a forward-fitting depending on your individual needs.

The Price

The cost of our bespoke suits starts at £749, for a 2 piece suit.

We have 1000s of cloths to choose from, including the complete range of cloths from the world’s leading mills, including Loro Piana, Scabal, Dormeuil, Harrison’s of Edinburgh, Huddersfield Fine Worsted, Dugdale Bros, Fox Flannels & Holland & Sherry.

The Delivery

Delivery of your suit usually occurs four to five weeks after the fitting. There is usually one final appointment to double-check that the suit is perfect. We refer to each meeting as a fitting because we are always pleased to make further tweeks if necessary.

The Next Suit

A bespoke creation requires an attention to detail and level of care that cannot be afforded to mass produced garments; this is one of the major reasons why our customers find it so difficult to return to 'off the peg' clothing once they have experienced bespoke clothing from Mullen & Mullen.
